New Rule: 5-Second Quarterback Countdown

After the snap, referees will initiate a 5-second countdown for the quarterback to pass/throw the ball to a teammate. If the quarterback hasn't released the ball within the designated 5 seconds, the play will be considered dead, and it will be the next down.

It's important to note that the defense retains the ability to rush from the 7-yard marker, where a referee will be stationed.
